David Elliot will be at the festival as part of the Children's entertainment schedule.

David Elliot is a multiple award-winning children’s illustrator and author.
He has written and illustrated sevral picture books, including the ‘Sydney penguin’ books and Pigtails the Pirate (winner of the 2003 NZ Post Children’s Picture Book Award).

He has illustrated a number of New Zealand children’s authors including Jack Lasenby, Margaret Mahy, Joy Cowley and Janet Frame.

Most recently David won the Margaret Mahy Book of the Year Award at the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults.His illustrated picture book Snark: Being a true history of the expedition that discovered the Snark and the Jabberwock ... and its tragic aftermath also won the Russell Clark Award for Illustration. David lives in Port Chalmers, near Dunedin, with his wife Gillian, and Molly the dog.

Be Part of a Bob Scott Artwork

Bob Scott has created some wonderful interactive artwork especially for the seafood festival. You may know Bob from rock bands The Clean and The Bats and for his great cover art on some pretty amazing NZ music albums. We are hoping that kids young and old will enjoy getting their photos taken with the Photo cutout boards that he has created.
